Description

Enveloping Endorphin Noise is a soundscape that's been made to gently surround you.

It's based around a deep, steady layer of Purple Noise - which is rich, full-spectrum, and softly immersive. And within that is a very subtle 7Hz fluctuation, alongside slow, relaxed breathing rhythms woven into the texture.

Together, these elements create a sense of quiet internal space - something that I hope can help ease the mind out of overthinking and into a more settled, restful state.

Unlike sharper or more uneven sounds, it fills the auditory field in a smooth, continuous way - giving the brain less to “track” or analyse. This can reduce mental activity and soften intrusive thought loops.

The gentle 7Hz modulation sits within the range often associated with slower brain rhythms. While this isn’t forcing the brain into any state, subtle rhythmic patterns it can feel naturally soothing and can encourage the mind to drift rather than engage.

The addition of breath like rhythms introduces something deeply familiar. My hope is that the body recognises slow, steady breathing as a signal of safety, and this can help nudge the nervous system toward relaxation.

Taken together, the effect is intended to be something like being held in a consistent, reassuring environment - a space where the mind doesn’t need to do anything.

This may be helpful for...
• Sleep and deep rest
• Reducing overthinking and mental noise
• Creating a calm background for relaxation or focus
• Supporting a sense of emotional settling

This is a black screen, no midway ads experience - so once it begins, it stays uninterrupted.

Listen Safely...
Please listen at a comfortable volume to protect your hearing, just as you would with music.

Only use this audio in a context where it is safe to relax or fall asleep. Do not listen while driving or doing anything that requires full attention.

These sounds are inspired by patterns found in the body - rhythms, states, and sensations - and there is some evidence that sound can influence aspects of physiology.
